COGNITIVE CAPABILITIES AND THEIR IMPACT ON CREATIVE SKILLS, A EXPLORATORY STUDY OF A NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES AT THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS, TIKRIT UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The research aims to describe the variables of the study (cognitive abilities, and creative skills),as well as analyze the relationship between cognitive abilities and creative skills, and measure the impact of cognitive abilities in achieving creative skills. Having creative skills. The research was based on the main hypothesis: There is no statistically significant effect at the level of significance (0.05) between cognitive abilities in their dimensions (learning abilities, cultural abilities, communication abilities) and creative skills. The analytical method was used by the researcher to reach the results, and the questionnaire was the main tool for collecting data and information related to the practical side, and the College of Administration and Economics - Tikrit University was chosen as a field for research and testing its hypotheses, and the opinions of (87) employees of the above college employees were surveyed. The most important conclusions that the researcher ached were that the dimensions of cognitive abilities achieve statistically significant correlations with creative skills, so that these results indicate that creative skills depend largely on cognitive abilities, as the more the college under study tends to adopt the dimensions of cognitive abilities and employ them correctly. This is more in achieving and enhancing creative skills employees. The most important recommendations were as follows: We must continuously strive to create an environment that helps and maintains the creative skills of employees on the one hand, and educational services on the other hand, as well as urging the administration of the college under study to think seriously and give great attention to cognitive abilities and look at them according to a future strategic perspective because of their Of the positive effects, as well as the need for the college under study to adopt the dimensions of knowledge capabilities in its field of work and at all administrative levels in accordance with the vision Aimed at achieving creative skills.
