A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON WAVE PROPAGATION AND VIBRATION PROCESSES IN THREE-LAYER VISCOELASTIC PLATES WITH A FILLER

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the scientific literature devoted to the study of wave propagation and vibration processes in three-layer viscoelastic plates with a filler. The stages of development of wave propagation theory in elastic and viscoelastic media, the properties of Rayleigh, Love, Lamb and Stoneley waves, methods for obtaining dispersion relations for multilayer structures, and models accounting for the dissipative properties of materials (Voigt, Maxwell, hereditary theory) are considered. The analysis shows that the problem of wave propagation in three-layer viscoelastic plates with a filler is far from its final solution, making the development of a theoretical basis, problem statement, solution methodology, algorithm and software a relevant scientific and practical task.
