This article evaluates the effectiveness of organ-preserving surgeries used for placenta previa, one of the most severe complications of pregnancy. The focus is on reducing the amount of bleeding observed during and after surgery, the possibility of preserving the uterus and reducing the need for blood transfusions. The article highlights the clinical effectiveness of methods used in modern obstetric practice, such as uterine artery ligation, compression sutures and uterine cavity tamponade.
