Main Article Content
Abstract
This article explores the opportunities for developing ethical and aesthetic competence among students through the application of the axiological approach in education. Rooted in philosophy, psychology, and education, the axiological approach emphasizes the study of values and their role in human behavior, decision-making, and societal norms. Through values education, character development, art and aesthetics education, and design thinking, educators can empower students to navigate moral dilemmas, appreciate beauty, and contribute positively to their communities. By integrating ethical and aesthetic principles into educational practices, educators play a vital role in nurturing students' moral awareness, aesthetic sensitivity, and creative potential. Through case studies and examples, this article illustrates how the axiological approach can be applied to cultivate ethical and aesthetic competence among students in diverse educational settings.
