Abstract

This article examines the role of the great scientist Iskhakhan Ibrat in the linguistic study of the settlement of Akhsikent. The description of Akhsikent as the oldest capital of the Fergana Valley is given. Also, examples are given from historical works and articles that occupy a special place in the scientific heritage of Ibrat, since his studies on the history of Fergana and the archeology of ancient cities have not lost their relevance today.
