Abstract

The history of the origin of geographical terms, the reasons for their naming are based on one source. This article describes the history of naming the most significant terms "land-water" among the toponyms of the Takhtakopyr region. Therefore, we stopped in the region of Takhtakupyr, the Karateren lakes and Mount Borshitav.
