Abstract
The family is considered an object of study in various fields of science, and each subject studies the family based on its categorical apparatus and purpose. In sociology, the institution of family is classified on the basis of various indicators that differ from each other in function. In this classification, the military family is distinguished by its social, psychological, and sectoral characteristics. The article presents an empirical study of the distribution of roles in military and non-military families.
