Abstract
The author emphasizes the relevance of the study, which lies in the low level of research on the issue, the process of globalization, the development of modern technologies and other reasons. The study presents the main methods of teaching English for students of technical universities. In addition, the author notes that it is necessary to approach the teaching of students in English comprehensively, that is, with the phased application of the modern range of teaching methods.
